A couple months ago I settled into my new home with all my roommates in Bellingham. With a new home comes new opportunities to decorate! Lately i’ve been obsessing over the clean, fresh, bright look… So that’s exactly what I went for! While my rooms has a totally different look from last year, I was still able to keep a ton of my furniture and decorations, while just buying a few new signature pieces to make my room look fresh and new. Check out some pictures below.
I’ll link some of the key items of my bedroom below, and feel free to comment your favorite (or least I don’t care lol) piece about my room. What’s your bedroom inspo?? Let me know.
Shop this room look!
Bedside Lamp (Could only find in white)
Inspired Life Notebook – Random to add in a room tour, but this adorable journal has prompts for you to fill out all about self reflection, with quotes added on each page (wonder where my inspired life quotes came from? ;))
Cinema Light Box – Probably the most complimented piece in my room. An inexpensive way to give your room that Pinterest vibe.
Globe String Lights – Living in an old house like mine comes with the ugliest, hospital lights placed in every room. I had these lights frame my room light for my room instead, and it gives off such a warmer feel.
Black-out Curtains – I have the hardest time staying asleep when my room gets bright from the sun in the morning. I found these adorable black-out curtains (in the kids section lol) at target. I wanted all white, but could only find the ones with little dots, and now I think it’s an adorable feature to the room!
White Rug w/ Black Accent – Could find the exact one but I found one super similar I also find amazing. (Beware white rugs call for yelling at all your friends to take their shoes off!)
Duvet Cover & Pillow Cases – Again couldn’t find the exact one, but found one quite similar. I’ve had this duvet for a few years now and the simplicity of it is key to me. Growing up I always wanted the crazy designs for my duvet cover but one my parents stopped paying for my decorations, I decided I should probably find something I’ll like for more then 6 months. Though Urban Outfitters has some insanely intricate duvet covers, I’d stick with a bit more plain if you’re not looking to buy a new one in a year.
Tapestry (ON SALE!) – I’m normally not a fan of the typical mandala tapestries, but I loved how this one was mostly white to keep my walls bright, but added the green feature which I kind of wanted my room to have (may or may not have been to match all my plants….) Society6 is also a super cool website that lets you purchase art from artists!
